An extensive illustrated full-colour monograph issued
in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name organised
by the Gallery Company in cooperation with the Adminstration of Prague Castle (Riding School, Prague Castle, 1st April – 10th July 2005). This is the first detailed study of Burian’s entire work encompassing the various genres. It also maps his work as a book and magazine illustrator, his important paleontological reconstructions and his lesser-known or unknown uncommissioned works, and includes many reproductions of Burian’s works and documentary photographs. The book also features a detailed list of all the artist’s known works.
